- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and mini marshmallows together until smooth, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Stir in the chocolate chips while the mixture is warm, allowing some to melt for added texture.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and press down gently with a spatula.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
