- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp mango chutney (or your favorite variety)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- Optional: Sliced tomatoes or cooked bacon
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients. Slice the bread and cheese.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Spread chutney on the unbuttered side of one slice. Layer cheese and top with the second slice, buttered side out.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from heat, slice in half, and serve hot.
