- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter for topping
- 1/2 cup sugar for topping
- 2 tbsp cinnamon for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat eggs; add milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients gently until just mixed; batter should be thick but pourable.
- Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for about 10 minutes; brush with melted butter and roll in cinnamon-sugar topping before slicing.
