- 1 cup dipping chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix sweetened shredded coconut, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and egg whites until combined.
- Scoop the mixture onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each mound.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Let cool on sheets for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- (Optional) Dip cooled macaroons in melted chocolate and let set on parchment paper.
