  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  3. Add in the egg and stir in vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in crushed Oreos and chocolate chips gently.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft. Allow cooling on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
