Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 6 slider buns (brioche or potato)
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and leave some grease in the pan.
  2. Sauté sliced jalapeños in the remaining bacon grease for about 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper; form into small patties.
  4. Cook the patties in the same skillet over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side, adding cheese on top to melt.
  5. Assemble the sliders by spreading barbecue sauce on buns, adding patties topped with melted cheese, crispy bacon, and sautéed jalapeños.
