Instructions
- Husk the corn and remove silk strands; rinse under cold water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter until bubbly.
- Add corn kernels and heavy cream; stir until well combined.
- Season with salt, pepper, and sugar; mix thoroughly.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
- Stir in optional herbs just before serving.
