- 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- 1. Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot with salt and cook pasta until al dente according to package instructions. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
- 2. Sauté the Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- 3. Make the Sauce: Stir in heavy cream and gradually add Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- 4. Combine: Add drained pasta to the sauce, tossing gently to coat. If needed, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
- 5. Season and Serve: Taste and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
