- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
 - 8 oz fresh cremini or button mushrooms, sliced
 - 1 cup heavy cream
 - 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
 - 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
 - 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
 - 2 tbsp fresh thyme or parsley, chopped
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping garlic and slicing mushrooms.
 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat. Sear the seasoned chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown.
 - Add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet; sauté for 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
 - Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, scraping the pan's bottom to incorporate flavors. Stir well.
 - Allow to simmer gently for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 - Stir in fresh herbs before serving.
