- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crock pot and cover with buffalo sauce.
- Spread softened cream cheese over the chicken and spoon sour cream on top.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until chicken shreds easily.
- Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks and mix until combined.
- Stir in cheese until melted, then top with green onions before serving warm with chips or veggies.
