- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk (any type)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted), plus extra for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter to coat.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
- Combine milk and egg in the banana bowl; mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients while stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
