- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Beat in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers remain soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
