Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
- Cut the bread into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
- Dip each bread strip into the egg mixture until coated but not soggy.
- Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Roll warm sticks in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon before serving with syrup.
