- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Optional: 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and cocoa powder together until smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in granulated and brown sugar until well combined. Allow to cool slightly.
- Whisk in eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract until glossy.
- Sift in flour and fold gently until just combined. Optionally, add chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
