Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients and milk alternately until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in the rainbow sprinkles gently.
- Divide batter evenly between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
