- 4 slices of fresh French or Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt until evenly mixed.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously over each slice of bread.
- If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of each slice.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
