Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti or fettuccine
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden brown (1-2 minutes).
- Reduce heat to low and add drained pasta to the skillet. Gradually mix in reserved pasta water.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
- Finish with chopped parsley, tossing until well combined.
