- 1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping parsley and mincing garlic.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 3 tablespoons of butter until foamy. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and add the remaining tablespoon of butter, stirring gently until combined.
- Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately with crusty bread or over rice.
