- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- Add Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Create Sauce: Pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually add parmesan cheese until melted and creamy; season with salt and pepper.
- Combine: Return the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet; toss well to coat.
- Garnish & Serve: Top with fresh parsley before serving.
