Ingredients

  • 4 large Portobello mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Clean the Portobello caps with a damp paper towel; do not rinse under water.
  3. Place the mushrooms in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).
  5. Grill the marinated mushrooms for 5-7 minutes per side until tender and charred.
  6. Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining marinade.
