- 1 lb ground beef or turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) pineapple rings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce and tomato slices
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a bowl.
- Add ground meat to the marinade, mixing well. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Shape the marinated meat into patties slightly larger than the buns.
- Preheat the grill to medium heat and grill pineapple rings for 3-4 minutes on each side until caramelized.
- Grill patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
- Toast the buns lightly on the grill and assemble with lettuce, patty, grilled pineapple, tomato slices, and extra teriyaki sauce if desired.
