Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter and cocoa together until smooth.
- Remove from heat; mix in granulated sugar until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in flour and salt gently using a spatula—avoid overmixing for fudginess.
- Stir in vanilla extract until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow cooling slightly before cutting into squares.
