Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine sliced peaches with ½ cup sugar and set aside to release juices.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon if using.
- Stir melted butter and milk into the dry mixture until just combined; lumps are okay.
- Pour batter into a greased baking dish and layer the peach mixture on top without stirring.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
