- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup raw honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in a bowl with soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger powder, and brown sugar for at least 30 minutes.
- Coat marinated chicken with cornstarch evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear the chicken pieces in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
