  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in a bowl with soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger powder, and brown sugar for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Coat marinated chicken with cornstarch evenly.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Sear the chicken pieces in batches for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 5-7 minutes until it thickens.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
