  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds (toasted for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until smooth. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add remaining marinade to the pan and simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
