Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tsp sesame seeds (toasted for garnish)
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch until smooth. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Add remaining marinade to the pan and simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until cooked through (165°F/74°C).
- Garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
