- 4 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 scallions, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth.
- Marinate chicken in half of the mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Arrange marinated chicken in a baking dish, skin-side up. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown (internal temp should reach 165°F).
- Brush remaining marinade over the chicken during the last 10 minutes of baking and garnish with scallions before serving.
