  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 scallions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth.
  4. Marinate chicken in half of the mixture for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  5. Arrange marinated chicken in a baking dish, skin-side up. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown (internal temp should reach 165°F).
  6. Brush remaining marinade over the chicken during the last 10 minutes of baking and garnish with scallions before serving.
