  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust for spice level)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, green onions, garlic, ginger, egg, panko breadcrumbs, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for about 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While baking, prepare the glaze by combining remaining soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth.
  6. Once baked, transfer meatballs to a bowl and toss with the warm glaze. Garnish with additional green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
