- 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup salsa (mild, medium, or spicy)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack mix)
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Spread the refried beans evenly in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Layer the sour cream over the beans, smoothing it out with the back of a spoon.
- Pour salsa over the sour cream layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top of the salsa.
- Add chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, and green onions as toppings.
- If desired, finish with freshly chopped cilantro before serving.
