Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Sauté garlic: In a large skillet, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add lemon: Stir in lemon juice and zest, creating an aromatic sauce.
- Combine: Drain the pasta, reserving some starchy water. Toss the pasta in the skillet with the lemon butter sauce until well coated.
- Finish: Mix in grated Parmesan and parsley, adding reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
- Serve warm with additional herbs or cheese if desired.
