- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
- While pasta cooks, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Drain pasta, reserving some cooking water, and add it to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat.
- Stir in fresh lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese. If needed, add reserved pasta water one tablespoon at a time until creamy.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
