Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually mix in milk until smooth.
  6. Divide the batter into two bowls; add cocoa powder to one and mix well.
  7. Pour alternating dollops of vanilla and chocolate batters into the prepared pans. Swirl with a knife for marbling.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
