- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar in a separate bowl until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually mix in milk until smooth.
- Divide the batter into two bowls; add cocoa powder to one and mix well.
- Pour alternating dollops of vanilla and chocolate batters into the prepared pans. Swirl with a knife for marbling.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
