- 1 cup diced potatoes (optional)
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Increase heat slightly and add ground beef; brown thoroughly while breaking it up with a spatula.
- Stir in chopped bell peppers, tomato sauce, olives, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add diced potatoes if using.
- Reduce heat to low, cover gently, and let simmer for about 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve hot over rice or in tortillas.
