Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 mini burger buns
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup special sauce (mix of 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 2 tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tbsp relish, sprinkle of paprika)
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into eight small patties.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  3. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt.
  4. While the burgers cook, slice mini buns in half and toast lightly in another skillet until golden brown.
  5. Assemble by spreading special sauce on both bun halves, followed by lettuce, patties, pickles, onions, and the top bun.
