- 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella into 1-inch thick sticks.
- Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and panko mixed with Italian seasoning in the third.
- Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with panko.
- Freeze coated sticks on parchment paper for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
