  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Cut mozzarella into 1-inch thick sticks.
  2. Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and panko mixed with Italian seasoning in the third.
  3. Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with panko.
  4. Freeze coated sticks on parchment paper for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown; drain on paper towels.
