- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for dipping)
- sprinkles, crushed nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Spoon batter into the prepared donut pan about halfway full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until donuts spring back when touched.
- Allow to cool slightly before dipping into melted chocolate chips for glazing.
- Add desired toppings and enjoy!
