- 6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, toss sliced peaches with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining sugar. Whisk in milk and melted butter until just combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer peach mixture on top without stirring.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
