Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gradually combine dry ingredients with the wet mixture using a spatula.
- Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft.
- Cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
