Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
  2. In a food processor, combine basil leaves, toasted pine nuts, garlic cloves, and grated Parmesan. Pulse until finely chopped.
  3. With the processor running, gradually drizzle in olive oil until the mixture is creamy but slightly chunky.
  4. In a large bowl, toss the cooked pasta with the pesto. Add reserved pasta water as needed for creaminess.
