- 1 medium sweet onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup bell peppers (chopped, mixed colors)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup provolone or cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 4 hoagie rolls
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and bell peppers for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart until browned (8-10 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and sprinkle cheese over the mixture; cover until melted (about 2 minutes).
- Spoon the cheesy mixture onto hoagie rolls and serve warm.
