- 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 1 large sweet onion, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers (red and green), sliced
- 4 fresh hoagie rolls
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by slicing the ribeye against the grain for tenderness.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until caramelized (5-7 minutes).
- Push veggies to one side of the skillet; increase heat to medium-high and add steak slices. Cook until browned but tender (3-4 minutes per side).
- Sprinkle provolone cheese over the steak mixture. Cover with a lid and let melt for about 2 minutes.
- Slice hoagie rolls open without cutting all the way through and fill with steak and cheese mixture. Add extra veggies if desired.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
