- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 can (20 oz) sliced pineapple in juice (drained)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 8 maraschino cherries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan.
- In the pan, melt butter over low heat and sprinkle brown sugar evenly. Arrange drained pineapple slices on top, placing cherries in the center of each ring.
- In a bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, milk, and melted butter until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the arranged pineapples and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before flipping onto a serving plate.
