- 1 box red velvet cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup cream cheese frosting
- 12 oz white chocolate melts
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Grease your baking pan.
- Prepare the red velvet cake batter as per package instructions and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl and mix in the cream cheese frosting until combined but not overly sticky.
- Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt the white chocolate melts in short bursts in the microwave until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop stick into melted chocolate before inserting it into each ball.
- Fully dip each pop into white chocolate and add sprinkles while still wet.
- Chill the finished cake pops for about 30 minutes until set.
