  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting
  • 12 oz white chocolate melts
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions. Grease your baking pan.
  2. Prepare the red velvet cake batter as per package instructions and bake until a toothpick comes out clean.
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl and mix in the cream cheese frosting until combined but not overly sticky.
  5. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Melt the white chocolate melts in short bursts in the microwave until smooth.
  7. Dip each cake pop stick into melted chocolate before inserting it into each ball.
  8. Fully dip each pop into white chocolate and add sprinkles while still wet.
  9. Chill the finished cake pops for about 30 minutes until set.
