- 4 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbly. Stir in mini marshmallows and mix continuously until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly fold in Rice Krispies cereal using a spatula until evenly coated.
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the pan and press down firmly with wax paper or your hands for even thickness.
- Let the treats cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes to set properly.
- Once cooled, cut into squares with a sharp knife and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
