- 12 large pasta shells
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- Cook pasta shells in salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and cool.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stuff each shell with the filling and place in the baking dish with openings facing up.
- Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
