Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta shells in salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Stuff each shell with the filling and place in the baking dish with openings facing up.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
