Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 15 oz whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and boil salted water.
  2. Cook pasta shells until al dente; drain carefully.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara in a baking dish; place shells seam-side up.
  6. Pour remaining marinara over shells and sprinkle with the rest of mozzarella.
  7. Cover with foil, bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
