- 1 whole chicken (3–4 pounds)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon (cut in half)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and place it in a roasting pan.
- Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season generously with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub some seasoning under the skin.
- Squeeze one lemon half inside the chicken cavity and place both halves inside.
- Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for at least 10 minutes before carving.
