  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon (cut in half)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels and place it in a roasting pan.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and season generously with salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub some seasoning under the skin.
  4. Squeeze one lemon half inside the chicken cavity and place both halves inside.
  5. Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for at least 10 minutes before carving.
