Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup peeled and deveined shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (divided)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (low-sugar)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (plus more for garnish)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare pasta shells by boiling water in a large pot. Cook shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Combine shrimp, crab meat, ricotta cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and parsley in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stuff each shell with about two tablespoons of the seafood mixture; place seam-side down in a greased baking dish.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover dish with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly before garnishing with parsley. Serve warm.
