- 1 lb large shrimp, deveined
- 8 oz short pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink (about 3–4 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice; mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture, adding parsley, salt, and pepper; stir well.
- Transfer to the baking dish, top with extra Parmesan, and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
