Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup tortilla chips or bread crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large casserole dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion and bell pepper until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in ketchup and mustard; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer half of the meat mixture in the casserole dish, top with half of the cheese, add remaining meat mixture, and finish with more cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
