- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion until translucent.
- Place chicken in the slow cooker and season with paprika and cumin.
- Combine chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper; pour over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker before serving.
